I have been producing various types of special events for over twenty years. I have had the opportunity to work with Tom Bercu on several of these events in the last two years. He is among the best event designers and producers I've had the pleasure to collaborate with.
Tom is creative and has the ability to come up with solutions and find the vendors to execute these solutions. He knows how to work within our budget and, frankly, often saves us money.
Added to this is Tom's truly pleasant and collaborative manner. He knows how to listen and he knows how to work with a client. He truly becomes a member of your team.

Thank you for joining the Hong Kong Tourism Board as the event producer for two of our biggest campaigns ever, the “ Hong Kong —Live It. Love It!” consumer campaign and the 73 rd American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) World Travel Congress.
The Government Promotion in New York and in San Francisco , to herald the arrival of The Honorable Donald Tsung, Chief Secretary of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, was a Herculean effort, given the three-week lead time. The launch of the “Live It. Love It!” campaign in the USA was impressive, with the broadcast of our two-minute TV commercial on the Times Square JumboTron being witnessed by numerous New York State and City government and business leaders. Inside the Reuters Studio, the reception was a magical event with scrumptious food, perfect décor, and superb performances.
The transformation of San Francisco 's Union Square into a Hong Kong happening just five days later was extraordinary. The thousands of consumers who attended were immersed in the East meets West, old and new that is Hong Kong . From the Chinese calligrapher to Beach Blanket Babylon to the dim sum to the world-famous Stratosphere and all the many stations capturing Hong Kong 's culture, the event could not have been more successful.
Tom, your professionalism is exemplified by your overall organization, ability to work with others and flexibility in the face of rapid and numerous changes. You offered ingenuity, attention to detail and a level of resourcefulness I've not encountered with prior events. With two important events virtually back-to-back, you rose to the challenge and ensured that HKTB was at its finest.

For the past five years I have the pleasure of working with Tom Bercu on various event programs for some of Silicon Valley's "Fortune 500" companies. Every program that Tom has managed for me, was managed with a high professional standard that can be rare to find in today's market. Not only did Tom execute on highly demanding objectives, but he diligently came under budget on each program. I appreciate Tom's strong work ethics and above all his ability to provide his clients with creative solutions adding value to each and every project. I confidently recommend Tom as a event producer on any program.
